Meet our newest Reading completer:

Cheri Wang, finished date: 5/8/2012.  A seventh grader, Cher enrolled on 2/1/2011 and started in Level DI. she finished the Kumon Reading Program in a litle over a year

Diksha Maurya, finished date: 2/6/2012.  A twelfth grader, Diksha enrolled on September, 2011 to review and improve her reading skill.  starting in Level J. she finished the Kumon Reading Program in under 5 months!  

Neha Bhupatiraju, finished date: 1/26/2012. A fifth grader, Neha enrolled in the Kumon porgram on May, 2006 starting in level 4A.  She finished the program in less than 6 years.

Andrew Walker, finished date: 1/19/2012.  A sixth grade, Andrew enrolled in the Kumon porgram on Nov, 2008 starting in level DI.  He finished the program in less than 4 years.

Meet our 2012 Reading Completers!

Diksha Maurya completed the Kumon Reading Program in Feb., 2012.  Diksha had a unique experience with the Kumon program.  She began the reading program the summer before her senior year in high school to enrich her literary background and her vocabulary.  Her critical reading skills were stellar.  She worked very hard to accomplish the completion goal in a short amount of time.  Her dedication and her foresight into her future education were exemplary.  Congrats, Diksha!

Neha Bhupatiraju completed the Kumon Reading Program in Jan., 2012.  Neha began Kumon as a young student and showed an amazing skill at navigating the higher skills.  The final three levels require a commitment that challenges the student to analyze, explore, and appreciate the writings of some of the well-known poets and authors.  Neha demonstrated her strong capabilities when she mastered these levels.  Her determination and strong work ethic were also strong contributing factors to Neha's success.  Congrats, Neha!

Andrew Walker completed the Kumon Reading Program in Jan., 2012.  He did an outstanding job of accomplishing the goal of completion.  Given the complexity of the themes of the higher levels, Andrew continually showed his critical analytical skills.  He is proof that a younger student can master and appreciate the literary greats.  He is a great role model for the younger students who have set goals to complete the reading program.  Congrats, Andrew!

2010 Award Ceremony!

The 2010 Award ceremony was held on Feb 20, 2011 in Valley View Middle School, Edina Mn.  Our theme this year is 'Learning from Excellent Students' 

Time:
2:00 PM - 3:30 PM for students from Grade 2 and up.
3:45 PM - 5:00 PM for Jr. Kumon students.

Even though the weather was not cooperating, we still had very good attendance and everyone enjoyed the show.  See photos of the ceremony in our Photo Gallery

We have an extraordinary year last year (2010) in program completions.  
Altogether we have 9 Math and 6 Reading completers!
